1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE PROCESS?
Personal information You Disclose to Us:
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you create a Hoolan account and set up your profile, when you use our Services, when you respond to our communications, or otherwise when you contact us. This includes:

Account data.In order to use our services, we require you to sign up and create a Hoolan account where you provide us with your name, username and email address.

Profile data & Kit data. To be able to fully benefit from the Services, you can choose to add profile information, such as profile pictures, profile intro, home spot, gender, nationality and date of birth, as well as kit information such as the category, size and brand of sports equipment you use.

User generated data. For example, photos and notes from your session, questions, messages and any other content or information that you generate, transmit, or otherwise make available on the Service.

Social Media Data. We have pages on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The companies that host our Social Media Pages may also provide us with aggregate information and analytics regarding the use of our Social Media Pages.

Surveys, competitions, giveaways. Any information that you submit in relation to any surveys, competitions, giveaways or other promotions that we may run, will be treated in accordance to the terms of this Privacy policy, except if expressly noted in the rules.

Health Data
Only with your express consent will we collect your health data. This data will be stored on our servers in relation to your user account, and will only be used to show you your heart rate and calories burned in each session. We do not use this data for any marketing purposes.
Activity Data
We process your activity data and store it in your user account. This includes data such as speed, date and time of session, duration, distance, gps location and movement data such as jump height, jump distance, airtime, rotations and g force on landing.
Location Data
We process your location information with your consent, and only whilst you are using the Hoolan App. Location data is essential for us to fully provide our Services. You are able to stop location tracking by adjusting your device settings at any time, but please note that you will not be able to track your sessions and therefore see any of your statistics.

Anonymous Aggregated data
Hoolan may aggregate the data that you and others provide whilst using our Services, for example information on useage, demographics and kit. This data is anonymous and helps us to understand our user trends better and, amongst other things, identify where we can provide additional features to improve our Services and to inform our marketing and business decisions.
Technical Information
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. The information we collect includes:

Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not share or sell personally identifiable information (such as name or email address) directly with other companies for marketing purposes. We do share personal information in specific situations as needed to run our business and provide the Services, as described below:
Service Providers
We may share your data with third-party vendors (data processors), service providers, contractors, or agents ('third parties') who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. 5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes of providing the Services, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We delete all your personal information when you request for your account to be deleted and this process may take up to 30 days to fully complete.
6. WHERE IS YOUR DATA HELD?​

Hoolan is based in the United Kingdom. If you are accessing our Service from other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that your Personal Data will be transferred to and stored in the United Kingdom as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
Whilst we do not specifically promote the Hoolan Services to minors, children aged 4 -18 yrs are able to download and use Hoolan as long as Hoolan's terms and this Privacy Policy have been reviewed and agreed with a parent or guardian. By using the Services, you represent that your parent or guardian consent to your use of the Services.
9. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In some regions (like the EEA, UK, Canada and California), particular rights are available to you under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. You can make such a request by emailing dpo@hoolan.app.
We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Requesting to view, update or delete the data we collect from you:
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, please email us at dpo@hoolan.app. Hoolan will process your request within 30 days.
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will delete your account and data from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements. Please note we cannot delete any data that you may have publicly shared on social media channels.
Withdrawing your consent:
If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, such as your location data or your health data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can do this by emailing dpo@hoolan.app.
Please note, however, that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
Opting out of marketing and promotional communications:
When you subscribe to our newsletter on our website, or when you download the Hoolan App and accept our terms and conditions, you will start receiving Hoolan's marketing and promotional communications. You can unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send, or by emailing us at dpo@hoolan.app. You will then be removed from the marketing lists. However, we may still communicate with you — for example, to send you service-related messages that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes. You may change your push notification settings at any time by accessing your Settings.
Removing or rejecting Cookies and similar technologies:
Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our Services.
Complaints:
If you are located in the EEA or UK and have a serious complaint about the way we are processing your personal information, that cannot be resolved together with us, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. 10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
