One of our goals is to make recording your kitesurfing and wingfoiling sessions on a watch as easy and as smooth as possible. A top tip to help with this is to add a Hoolan complication to your watch face. This gives you a short cut direct to the Hoolan 'Record' screen, without having to go via the App view.
For those unfamiliar with complications, you are able to customise your Apple Watch face to include small interface elements (complications) that allow quick access to apps or show snippets of information that are interesting to you. In our case, the Hoolan complication is a small logo that can be placed in a corner of your main watch screen, which gives you a direct link to the 'Record' screen of the Hoolan app:

How to add a Hoolan Complication:
Press and hold your finger on your watch screen, then tap the Edit button that appears.
Swipe left all the way to the end. If a face offers complications, they’re shown on the last screen. Tap to highlight the space where you'd like the Hoolan complication to appear.
Turn the crown to scroll down the page until you get to Hoolan and tap to select the Hoolan complication.
Press the crown to confirm and then tap the screen to return to your watch screen which will now have the complication in place.

Please see Apple's support pages for full information on how to customize your Apple Watch face.
