Can't see your jumps?

If you can't see any jump data in your statistics on the Hoolan phone app, then it is most likely due to the following:

  • We only track jumps for water-based sports that are 1.5 m or over.

This is to prevent false jumps being recorded, for example by going over waves or porpoising on a foil. If your jumps didn't quite meet this benchmark, then they won't have been recorded.

  • Your jump settings may have jump detection set as 'OFF' for the activity you were recording

As a default, jump detection is 'ON' for all kite activities except for kitesurfing on a strapless foil, kite landbuggying and kite skating, and 'OFF' for all wingfoiling and windsurfing activities. We've done this to save battery for those recording activities where the majority of riders don't jump.  This can easily be changed on the Settings screen on either the Hoolan Apple Watch app or Garmin App:

If the information above doesn't apply to your session, then please email contact@hoolan.app and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
