Set Up button not responding

If nothing happens when you tap 'SET UP' button on the Hoolan Apple Watch App, it is most likely that the connection between the phone and the watch needs to be reset. Please do the following:

  1. Restart both your phone and your watch.
    When they are powered back on make sure the watch is paired with your phone. You can check this by pressing the side button on your watch. A menu should appear and at the top should be a little green phone, which means that your watch is paired.  Alternatively, go to the Watch App on your phone, tap 'All Watches' in the top left and check your watch is there.
     

  2. Make sure your phone and your watch are not in airplane mode.
    Press the side button of your Apple Watch to access the menu with the airplane mode button.
     

  3. Make sure that you don't have a focus on.
    On your phone: Settings > Focus.
     

  4. Make sure your phone and your watch are less than a couple of metres apart.
     

  5. Open the Hoolan app on your phone and your watch.
    Then try the 'SET UP' button again on your watch.
     

  6. The setup button will become darker and after a moment or two some permission screens should pop up.
