Request or edit a spot
Request a new spot:
If we don't yet have a spot name in our database for your session, you are able to request that we add it for you by tapping the 'Request spot' link on your session details screen.
Tapping the link pops up an email with a reference number, for you to add the spot name that you'd like for your location and then send on to us. We will we add it to our database and map your session to it as soon as we can. See the note below if you get an 'Email Request' pop up instead.
Edit your spot:
To edit the spot name for your session, tap the 3 dot menu at the top of the Session Details page > Edit > Spot. An email will pop up with a reference number, for you to send to us so we can make the change for you. Please make sure to add the new spot name that you'd like for your location. In the future we will be adding a form to the app to make this process smoother.
Note:
If in either case you get a pop up message 'Email Request' that asks you to email your spot name to us at contact@hoolan.app, this is because you haven't yet added your default email address on the Apple mail app on your phone. This is easy to set up by going to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.
